I didn't like anything about this supposed hotel. If you want a clean hotel stay somewhere else! If you want a good nights sleep , stay somewhere else!if you want to feel safe in your room at night stat somewhere else!! Really what I'm saying is stay somewhere else! I've been lucky enough to have been all around the world and with out a shadow of doubt this is the worst hotel I've ever been in. Do urself a favour , stay some were else

    Internet point, breakfast

There was a complete water shortage on the arrival day, and on the day after only cold water was available. Such a dull start of a conference day. Additionally, the room window wouldn't seal properly allowing the winter to sit up at the bedside all night long. Toilets not supplied with essentials.

    location.

window propped open with can, bathrooms out of order, plaster pealing off wall, radiator leaking. poor security with main front door not self closing, early morning fight in adjacent alley way so overall not a great experience.

Excellent staff - knowledgable, friendly and very helpful. Excellent breakfast, best museli on our trip so far. Location was excellent - close to coach terminal and rail station (we needed to make a transfer from one to the other from late in the evening to early in the morning). Overall very good value for money.

The rooms were small but adequate. Bit of noise on weekends as above nearby bars on street below. But in an excellent North Quarter area for going out at night.

The man on reception was very rude and didn't help at all! The way he spoke to me was disrespectful and unhelpful! It was like he didn't care at all! I was told there was a working tv in the room however when I got there the tv was broken and he wouldn't change me to another room unless I paid an extra £10! I reluctantly had to pay this and also leave a £30 deposit for the remote which won't be put back in my bank account for 7 working days after I have left! I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone!

    location

very cold heating was off throughout

Very centrall located, cheap and cheerful for a night out drinking with friends then somewhere to crash

The door did not lock automatically when you shut it, you had to press the central button on the inside and then close from outside. If I had not checked this I would have left my room unlocked. A warning about it would have been nice.

We were disappointed with the room n the shower wasnt working n tv knackered there was no towels in room ensuite was crap the toilet on land was dirty and its wasnt very attractive from the outside and inside wasnt clean it should have special weekend wasnt happy they we add to pay £10 for the key iam taking this further

    Its location.

I dont think this should be classed as a hotel, more a B&B. Rooms are dirty. We paid an extra £5 for a room with an ensuite only to find our room there only had a sink! After complaining we were told that the shared bathroom/toilet on the landing was closest to our room, and other guests had further to travel to get to it. After a long discussion with staff in which we pointed out to them that having a toilet close to your room was not classed an ensuite, they refunded our £5. Staff are useless and rude. Hotel needs a complete overhaul or even better closing down!. I would not be staying there again.

Ok the pros. It was cheep, located near the city centre, the. Receptionist let me check in half an hour early, there's an Internet cafe right by reception, Manchester Arena and Piccadilly station were both within walking distance so I didn't have to take a taxi anywhere.

Ok the cons and there are a few of them. First of all the entrance to the hotel was located up an alley, which even in the day made me nervous. Then once I was inside I had to pass decorators who left their things just lieing about or blocking the way. Now for the room. The room itself looked clean I'll admit, but it was poorly lit thanks to a building opposite my room stopping the majority of the sunlight getting in. The bed was rock hard. it had a small chest of drawers with one of the handles broken on it. The bathroom was much worse though. The floor was old and stained, the shower was small and the nossel was held on with tape. Finally breakfast. I had a choice of six cereals, four drinks and toast and that was it. Dispite all this it was not a bad stay as I only stayed for one night, but would not recommend for any longer than two or three nights

The hotel had a good location

The staff were very rude - the first thing the girl behind the counter said to me was not to throw money at her! The room had no bathroom and i could hear the music from outside till around 4am. The room wasn't clean and though a kettle was provided, no tea cups had been! Overall, this was the worst hotel i had stayed in for a while. I complained to the manager and recieved no response as well after sending an email three times!

Horrible, horrible, horrible hotel. Do not stay here, this place is disgusting. Glass on the front door as we walked in, no toilet in rooms, stains on sheets, dodgy location. Avoid at all costs!
